AI + Environment EcoHackathon

IBM Research represented FAST-EO at the AI+Environment EcoHackathon kickoff, organized by ETH AI Center and GainForest. The EcoHackathon is designed to ignite interest in environmental conservation and develop solutions for pressing ecological issues using AI and data visualization, aimed at protecting the Amazon Rainforest. FAST-EO will support participants with its expertise in geospatial foundation models and large-scale AI, enhanced by high-performance computing. The best pitches will be run on a supercomputer sponsored by the Jülich Supercomputing Centre, part of Forschungszentrum Jülich.
